My Portfolio

Expatriates experience layers of loss as they move into and out of contracts across borders. My work uses bricolage and prints to metaphorically express the losses experienced when relocating, the absence of significant people from expatriates’ lives and the steps taken to restore hope. Using plant matter, discarded items and Western African fabric, I seek to connect my work to my current geophysical location, Lomé, Togo.
