Hope Mini Prints

The act of deliberately applying pressure to fragile palm fruit in order to create these prints reminds me of the extreme pressure and stress expatriates are under when they transition. These impromptu prints symbolize for me how distress and hardship can be transformed into opportunities for hope and emotional growth. They also have an other-worldly appearance. I find this appropriate as I believe that our ultimate source of hope is 'other-worldly', in the life-giving eternal hope of Jesus Christ.
