Using dyes and oils that I sourced from palm tree fruit, in addition to clothing dyes and acrylic, these drawings are abstract expressions of the emotional impact of loss. Their imagery is inspired by enlarged sections of photographs I took of majestic palm trees that were chopped down in my neighborhood.
